ILLNESS POLICY & COVID-19 SAFETY
At Kneads Massage, we prioritize the health and safety of our clients and team members. If you have experienced any respiratory, flu, or cold symptoms such as fever, chills, nasal drainage, congestion, sore throat, cough, muscle aches, or shortness of breath recently or currently, we require you to reschedule your appointment at least 14 days later. We have made some changes in light of the new COVID-19 safety standards.
SCHEDULING
All services are scheduled by appointment only, and we offer same-day appointments subject to availability. To ensure that we can accommodate your preferred appointment time, we recommend that you schedule with as much advance notice as possible. For same-day appointments, we reserve the session with a credit card.
AGE REQUIREMENT
We accept appointments for children under the age of 16 if accompanied by a parent or guardian during the service and with a parent or guardian-signed waiver. Children aged 16-18 are not required to have an adult present during the service unless requested by the therapist but must have a parent or guardian-signed waiver.
CANCELLATION POLICY
I truly understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule, kindly let me know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows someone else to take the spot and ensures it’s not left vacant. If you’re feeling unwell, please call as soon as you realize you won’t make your appointment as a courtesy to others.
PAYMENT
Full payment is due at the time of service, and we accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express).
ARRIVING LATE
If you are running late for your session, we will accommodate you for the remaining time within your scheduled appointment. We do not extend the session beyond the original appointment time, and you will be responsible for the full payment of the service you scheduled.
GIFT CARDS
You can purchase gift cards for any amount, but they are redeemable only for massage services and are non-refundable. Gift cards expire two years from the date of purchase, and we are not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized, or damaged cards.
GRATUITIES
Gratuities are not included in our prices and are entirely at the client’s discretion, typically 15-20-25% of the regular cost of the service.
HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
Please inform us at the time of scheduling of any health conditions, allergies, special needs, or concerns you have. Your safety is important to us & some services may not be appropriate for certain conditions.
COMMUNICATE YOUR PREFERENCES
If you have any health conditions, allergies, or special needs, please let us know when scheduling your appointment. We can modify various aspects of your massage session, including pressure, lighting, music, temperature, and conversation, to suit your preferences.
CELL PHONE USAGE
To maintain a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, we request that you silence or turn off your cell phones and pagers upon entering the room.
